Due to the revised water protection legislation of 2011 a strategic revitalisation planning was carried out and the benefits of revitalisation measures for nature and landscape were determined in relation to the expected effort. Important information on this was the ecological potential of a section of the water as well as the expected effort to eliminate existing installations in the water space. A cantonal group of experts plausible the results in several steps.
