Supplementary files, introductory geoscience taught & learned curriculum Fall 2023

Data and graphs showing analysis of introductory geology textbooks, and of survey responses acquired in Fall 2023 from introductory geoscience students at UT Dallas. This data is used in the first of a series researching taught and learned introductory geoscience curriculum about the US continental crust and sedimentary basins. The first manuscript title is: Preparing undergraduates for their sustainable future: background research for a video series explaining US continental crust and sedimentary basins The data is anonymized, no personally-identifiable data is included. The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, and the protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of IRB-23-709 on August 8, 2023. Informed consent for participation was obtained from all subjects involved in the study.
