Humor y propaganda. El caso de Miguel Mihura y Tono en Unidad (1937)

This article investigates the relation between humor and propaganda within the context of the Spanish Civil War. It focuses on the contributions by two prominent white humor authors (Miguel Mihura y Antonio de Lara Gavilán, "Tono") to the newspaper "Unidad" (1937) that approach satire in the war period. This work analyzes some tales produced by both authors, working in collaboration, that dismantle the myths and symbols of the Revolution, through the dehumanized humor, typical of the Spanish avant-garde.
