ECMWF IFS ENS - dynamical.org Icechunk Zarr

The Integrated Forecasting System (IFS) is a global forecast model developed by ECMWF. ENS is an ensemble configuration of IFS, containing 51 ensemble members. IFS consists of a numerical model of the Earth system, which includes an atmospheric model at its heart, coupled with models of other Earth system components such as the ocean. The data assimilation system combines the latest weather observations with a recent forecast to obtain the best possible estimate of the current state of the Earth system.These datasets have been translated to cloud-optimized Icechunk Zarr format by dynamical.org.集成预报系统（Integrated Forecasting System，IFS）是由欧洲中期天气预报中心（ECMWF）开发的全球预报模型。集合预报系统（ENS）是IFS的集合配置方案，共包含51个集合成员。IFS由地球系统数值模型构成，其核心为大气模型，并耦合了海洋等其他地球系统组分的模型。数据同化系统（data assimilation system）可将最新的气象观测数据与近期预报结果相结合，以获得对地球系统当前状态的最优估算。这些数据集已由dynamical.org转换为云优化的Icechunk Zarr格式。
