We performed whole exome sequencing on samples derived from patients enrolled in the Nurses' Health Study with the aim to identify somatic alterations in these samples and assess inter-patient heterogeneity in mutational profiles. This project is directed towards laying the ground work for future larger studies on an epidemiologic cohort (the Nurses Health Study), which has collected FFPE tissue blocks from ~8000 breast cancer cases.
