The aim of the study was to characterise the transcriptome profile of ameloblastoma in order to identify relevant genes involved in its pathogenesis by carrying out high-throughput gene expression. Overall design: Total RNA from 12 fresh tumour samples of ameloblastomas were RNA-sequenced on Illumina NovaSeq 6000 S4, paired-end 150 bp. The key findings were verified by quantitative real-time PCR (QPCR) and immunohistochemistry. The experiment type was an expression profiling by RNA-sequencing.
