Omora Bog Functional Reference Genes Dataset

This dataset contains functional reference genes and KEGG Orthologs (KOs) associated with key metabolic pathways. It includes genes involved in the electron transport chain as well as metabolic routes linked to the nitrogen, carbon, and methane cycles. The dataset was constructed from publicly available genomic data retrieved from NCBI, which were curated and filtered to generate a functional reference framework. The collection provides a reproducible resource for ecological and evolutionary studies, with its first application at Omora Bog. The dataset is formatted to be directly used as a reference database in BLAST searches.
