资源简介:
The research entitled Varietal response of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) and yardlong bean (Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis) against invasive thrips, Thrips parvispinus (Karny) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) formulated to screen 11 cowpea/ yardlong bean varieties for resistance to thrips parvispinus. the data shows the observations on flower bud abortion rate, heritability, leaf damage score, number of thrips per plant, number of days to flowering, number of pods, number of thrips per plant, percent effective peduncles, and correlation table. the observations was taken at 3 intervals. Thrips population was monitored across eleven genotypes at various growth stages: vegetative growth stage (15-30 DAS), flower bud initiation and flowering stage (30-45 DAS), pod formation and filling stage (45-65 DAS). The observations were recorded between 8.00 am and 10.00 am.
