Billfish life history field data include information on Atlantic billfish species, catch location, billfish length, weight, sex, macroscopic development, stomach content, gonads, and remarks. Additional data exist on plankton tows, ship logs, nightlight samples, and dip net samples. Some data sheets contain otolith information. Billfish samples were collected from fishing boats, smokehouses, and taxidermy shops in Southeast Florida.
