Marinobacter alkaliphilus was screened and isolated from the aerobic biological filter of a recirculating aquaculture plant, and was confirmed to have heterotrophic nitrification and aerobic denitrification capabilities.The analysis of the whole genome of SBY-1 can further revealed these complex nitrogen transformation processes.
