Transcriptome Sequencing of Botryosphaeria dothidea Treated with Phoebe bournei Wood Essential Oil

The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of Phoebe bournei wood essential oil on Botryosphaeria dothide and its mechanism of action. Botryosphaeria dothidea is a pathogenic fungus widely present in plant tissues, which can cause branch blight and ulcer disease in many plants, posing a serious threat to agricultural production, forestry resources and the ecological environment. In order to investigate the inhibitory effect of Phoebe bournei wood essential oil on Botryosphaeria dothidea, Botryosphaeria dothidea was treated with Phoebe bournei wood essential oil for 3h, 6h and 12h, respectively, and the relevant differentially expressed virulence genes were screened and verified. This study is expected to provide scientific evidence and technical support for the development of new, efficient and environmentally friendly biocontrol agents.
