The 3D-PDR Orion Dataset was developed by the Leiden Observatory at Leiden University, comprising 8192 models of simulated photodissociation regions (PDRs). The dataset is constructed based on the physical conditions of the Orion Bar region within the Orion Nebula, encompassing a broad set of initial parameters including radiation field strength, gas density, and cosmic-ray ionization rate, among others. The development process of this dataset involved conducting numerical simulations using the 3D-PDR code, and generating models with varied initial conditions via Sobol sampling. Primarily targeted for astrochemical research, this dataset aims to support the simulation of chemical and physical conditions of photodissociation regions, especially for high spatial and temporal resolution studies.
