Transfers User Files

Introduction This dataset contains federal transfers to each province and territory under each major federal transfer program from 1980 to present and, for the Equalization program, from 1957 to present. Data are normalized by dividing by provincial GDP and by population. The source data were created by the Department of Finance Canada. This dataset Included are XLSX files which present this data in nominal dollars, inflation adjusted dollars per capita (2019 dollars), and as a share of GDP for each province and territory.
