POM size classes (= 50, 51–200 & >200) were informed by literature and by POM found in the field [8]. Scenario 9 reflects the distribution of POM sizes observed in [8]. The measure of POM volume is provided together with the % accessible POM on pore/solid interface with average and standard deviation for each scenario. The % of accessible POM is crucial as it determines the accessibility to organic matter.
