Targeted RNA-sequencing of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded breast cancer tissue samples

The presence of over-expressed receptors in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) leads to the absence of targeted therapy. Tumor budding (TB) has emerged as a recent prognostic indicator. It is essential to pinpoint genes unique to high TB cases to prevent tumor advancement and spread. In this study, we utilized TempO-Seq to profile transcriptomic data from breast cancer samples to identify biomarkers for high TB cases. Overall design: The gene expression profile was subgrouped into 15 breast cancer (BCA) and 13 TNBC cases. BCA samples include 12 high and 3 low TB samples, while TNBC comprises 13 samples, with 11 high and 2 low TB patients.
