Dataset for "Spatial Distribution of Fossil Fuel-derived CO₂ in South Korea" (Tree leaf radiocarbon data, 2022–2024)

This dataset contains radiocarbon measurements (F¹⁴C and Δ¹⁴C) of atmospheric carbon dioxide derived from deciduous tree leaves collected in South Korea between 2022 and 2024. Samples were obtained from rural, residential, tourist, and industrial areas and analyzed using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). The data were used to quantify fossil fuel–derived CO₂ contributions and to compare regional differences associated with human activities. The dataset includes sample identifiers, sampling locations, regional characteristics, measurement year, F¹⁴C values, and calculated Δ¹⁴C values. These data support the analyses presented in the associated manuscript submitted to the Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres.
