Exploration the mechanism of sucrose affecting occurrence of Lycium ruthenicum branch-thorns based on RNA-Seq

On the basis of demonstrating that sucrose promotes the occurrence of Lycium ruthenicum thorns, RNA-Seq was employed to screen and analyze the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) of four samples: thornless stem apical buds (TleCK), thorny stem apical buds (ThoCK), thornless stem apical buds transformed from thorny ones after reducing endogenous sucrose treatment (TleDPL), and thornless stem apical buds transformed into thorny ones after spraying exogenous sucrose (ThoSuc).
