Here, we present sequence alignments and gene tree files of orthogroups as described in our publication entitled “Phylogenomic profile of exon-intron organization across angiosperms, their relationships with protein domains, and functional implications”. The compressed files, MSAOUT.tgz, TRIMALOUT.tgz, and TREES.tgz, contain the protein sequence alignments, nucleotide sequence alignments, and gene tree files of 16,754 orthogroups, respectively. We also provide a list file (Gene_ID_List) that presents the gene IDs used in the two aforementioned files (left column) alongside the corresponding IDs described in the published genome annotation files (GFFs) (right column). A table file (Supp_Data_10.xlsx), an extended version of Supplementary Data 10, presents the conserved exons and their corresponding protein domains identified in 50 genomes. In addition, the PDF file (ConservedExons.pdf) illustrates the number of conserved exons in five length categories mapped onto different phylogenetic positions.
