Dataset of radiocarbon dates and boulder characteristics from Amami-Oshima Island, Japan

This dataset contains radiocarbon dating results and morphological measurements of coastal boulder deposits from Cape Ayamaru, Amami-Oshima Island, in the northern Ryukyu Islands, Japan. The data were collected as part of a study investigating the long-term variability of intense tropical cyclone activity in the western North Pacific over the past two millennia.
