High-frequency UAV laser scanning dataset of embryonic dune development at the Zandmotor (June 2024 - June 2025)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the paper "Relating Short-Term to Long-Term Morphological Changes in Coastal Dune Systems" by Hulskamp & Hulskemper et al. (2026). The dataset contains high-frequency UAV laser scanning (ULS) measurements and derived products of a dune system at the Zandmotor (Sand Engine), Netherlands, collected between June 2024 and June 2025. The data supports analysis of intra-annual spatiotemporal variations in dune development and their relation to longer-term dune growth. Study Area: Zandmotor, Delfland coast, Netherlands (52.051°N, 4.184°E) Temporal Coverage: 7 June 2024 – 17 June 2025 Spatial Coverage: 128,746 m² embryonic dune field Measurement Frequency: Approximately bi-monthly (8 epochs) Measurement Dates | Date | Filename Identifier ||------------|---------------------|| 2024-06-07 | 20240607 || 2024-07-17 | 20240717 || 2024-09-17 | 20240917 || 2024-10-09 | 20241009 || 2024-11-15 | 20241115 || 2024-12-17 | 20241217 || 2025-02-14 | 20250214 || 2025-05-14 | 20250514 || 2025-06-17 | 20250617 |
