R scripts for "Performance of Spatial Panel Data Estimators under Irregular Spatial Structures: A Monte Carlo Simulation Based on Voronoi Tessellations"

This repository contains the R scripts used to implement the Monte Carlo simulation presented in the paper "Performance of Spatial Panel Data Estimators under Irregular Spatial Structures: A Monte Carlo Simulation Based on Voronoi Tessellations". The scripts generate irregular spatial structures using Voronoi tessellations, simulate spatial panel data under SAR and SEM specifications, estimate models via Maximum Likelihood (ML) and Generalized Method of Moments (GMM), and compute bias and RMSE for performance evaluation. The code is written in R and uses the packages sp, spdep, splm, plm, Matrix, deldir, dplyr, tidyr, foreach, doParallel, ggplot2, and patchwork.
