Data and code for: “Weight gain among children with severe malnutrition in therapeutic feeding programmes: a systematic review and meta-analysis”

The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to inform policy and programme discussions on optimal rate of weight gain in children being treated for severe malnutrition. Specific objectives are to: describe how weight gain has been measured and reported by treatment programmes; describe the rate of in-programme weight gain in different types of treatment programmes (e.g. inpatient, outpatient, hybrid); describe average length of stay (LOS) in different types of treatment programmes and explore any association with rate of weight gain; explore any association between rate of weight gain and programme outcomes (e.g. mortality, recovery).
