资源简介:
ABSTRACT This study had the purpose investigating the impact of word length, syllable complexity and segmental properties (MA) in phonological awareness tasks, in children with typical phonological development and with phonological disorders and compare your results. Eighty subjects, in age group of six years old, divided in two groups, participated in this study: group with typical phonological development (GTPD) and group with phonological disorders (GPD). It was develop two tasks of phonological awareness: syllable segmentation and segmental recognition. It was analyzed the word length, the syllable complexity and the segmental properties (MA). Was used the Chi-Square Test, with significance level of 5%. For word extension, the results were significant for both groups, with correct segmentation for disyllabic. For syllable complexity, words formed by complex onset were significantly segmented correctly, by GDFT. Regarding the segmental properties (MA), words with non-lateral liquid coda were correctly segmented by GDFT. The group GTPD, significantly, higher for of right answers for the syllable task and the total of right answers. The analyzed phonological properties caused effect in the performance of the applied phonological awareness tasks. The group GPD obtained lower results in the applied tasks in comparison with the group GTPD.
