Acquisition of a Glycosylated B-Cell Receptor Drives Follicular Lymphoma Towards a Dark Zone Phenotype

A balanced number of NliGpos and NliGneg FL B cells from a single lymph node were processed and analyzed. We conclude that a distinction can be made between NliGpos and NliGneg FL cells and centroblast/centrocyte phenotype. Whole exome sequencing was performed to identify somatic variants in the lymphoma cells. Paired analysis was performed of lymphoma cells, and fibroblasts cultured from the biopsy sample as normal cells. Lymphoma at 200x coverage and fibroblasts at 50x coverage.
