Dataset to accompany the manuscript: "Challenging One-Way Fish Modelling: Two-Way Coupling Reveals Critical Marine Ecosystem Dynamics"

The data presented here is used to create the plots in the associated manuscript: , which has been submitted to Progress in Oceanography. In the manuscript 3 model simulations were undertaken: 1) Baseline ERSEM (NEMO-FABM-ERSEM) ; 2) Offline FABM-MIZER and 3) two-way coupled ERSEM-MIZER (NEMO-FABM-ERSEM-MIZER). Monthly depth-integrated or depth-averaged 2D data from 1986-2017 for the AMM7 domain are provided in addition to daily or monthly timeseries data for different regions of the North West European Shelf (see provided amm7 domain file for masks). Yearly mesozooplankton phenology data is also provided for 1986-2017. Fabm.yaml files with all parameters for each of the 3 simulations are also provided.
