The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies presents significant implications for the future of employment, raising concerns about job replacement and the potential reduction of human employment opportunities. This paper explores the multifaceted threats posed by AI in various sectors, particularly focusing on its impact on organizational decision-making and workforce dynamics. The rise of AI has been linked to anxiety among employees, indicating a growing concern over identity threats in the workplace. This study uses the statistical technique of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smartpls as an instrument. Using Google Forms, data from 417 respondents were collected online, but only 386 responses were valid. Respondents are employees from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and other cities in Indonesia. This study uses the Purposive Sampling method; Data were collected in December 2024. This study contributes to providing deeper insights into the various threats posed by AI in various sectors that have a negative impact on employee work. So with this research, more companies will be able to consider the excessive use of AI.
