2D4D, handedness and sexual orientation
收藏资源简介:

The project explores the associations between the second-to-fourth digit ratio (2D:4D) and individual characteristics such as handedness, sexual orientation, and sex differences. It aims to provide evidence for or against these associations through a large sample size and comprehensive analyses.

The dataset includes measurements of finger lengths and their ratios (2D:4D) obtained from 935 men and 900 women who participated in different experiments since 2010 to 2021. The dataset also incorporates data on handedness, sexual orientation, and demographic details like ethnicity.

Data were collected from Spanish and other European, South American, North African, and Middle Eastern participants. Measures include right and left-hand digit ratios for all the sample and handedness performance, self-reported handedness and self-reported sexual orientation (mesured with different procedures) for different subsamples.
