Ecophysiological trait dataset for bloom-forming cyanobacteria of the Laurentian Great Lakes
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains per-isolate Bayesian estimates of ecophysiological traits for 78 bloom-forming cyanobacterial isolates from four Laurentian Great Lakes (Lake Erie, Lake Superior, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan). Isolates span four genera (Dolichospermum, Microcystis, Nodularia, Planktothrix) and 14 species-level groups. Traits include thermal performance curve parameters (maximum growth rate, thermal optimum, upper thermal limit), phosphorus affinity, nitrogen affinity, and nitrogen fixation capability. Each trait estimate is reported as the posterior median with 95% credible intervals, alongside model convergence diagnostics from Bayesian fits to laboratory growth-rate assays. The dataset supports the associated manuscript: Waldmann Rosenbaum, C., Wickman, J., Kiledal, E.A., Yang, J., Klausmeier, C.A., Litchman, E. Intra- and interspecific trait diversity of bloom-forming cyanobacteria in the Laurentian Great Lakes. Harmful Algae (in review).
