资源简介:
Energy demand and environmental pollution have become the two major problems to which societies are seeking immediate remedies. Polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) are a potential solution to the increasing demand for sustainable energy conversion technologies. One of the long-standing challenges for efficient and reliable PEFC performance is accomplishing effective water management. The proposed lizard-inspired flow-field serves as a simple and effective means of achieving reliable PEFC operation. However, an in-depth study of the water dynamics within this novel PEFC has not been established. The aim of this proposal is to use the unique benefits of IMAT instruments to provide the first-ever report of water dynamics in lizard-inspired flow-field based PEFCs. This has major implications for PEFCs design and operation and be of interest to academics and technology developers alike.
