Fixed-structure forms identified in 15 books from the National Archives of the Netherlands

The topic of this dataset are fixed-structure forms present in historical document archives. In order to create this dataset, we chose 15 books from various centuries with both handwritten and printed documents from the openly accessible part of the National Archives of the Netherlands and manually analyzed all images from the 15 books. We identified documents which could be considered fixed-structure forms (including printed and filled-out forms, tables, letters with static pre-printed text, etc.). From 8038 images in the analyzed 15 books, 1599 were classified as fixed-structure forms. Each of the JSON file represents one book from the archive. It contains the URL to the book index, and the list of clusters. Each cluster consists of URLs to the individual images and is composed of all instances of a single fixed-structure forms present in the book.
