RNAseq analysis of peripheral blood and synovial fluid neutrophils from rheumatoid arthritis patients

We report changes in gene expression that take place in human neutrophils following migration from peripheral blood to synovial joints in patients with rheumatoid arthritis Neutrophils (purity >97%) were isolated from paired peripheral blood and synovial fluid (SF) from n=3 patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis. RNA was isolated using Trizol and sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform.
