This series consists of files created by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs (VA 1026) between 1974 and 1985. The files represent the central filing system of the Ministry and includes some records created by other bodies prior to the creation of the Ministry. Files include general correspondence, policy, administrative and financial records, and investigatory records. The records document the full range of functions of the Ministry during the period.
