Drinking water microplastic particles

This dataset reports the results of the analysis of 32 drinking water samples from two different sampling points of the same treatment plant to identify and quantify the microplastics present. Some sampling parameters, such as the season, the volume of water sampled, the type and treatment of the bottle used, were modified to assess the impact on the result of the analysis. In addition, the number of unidentified particles and the number of proteins detected are reported.
