Vascular sap proteome profiling of Eucalyptus grandis, Eucalyptus urophylla and Eucalyptus camaldulensis

We present a label free proteome dataset of the vascular sap proteome of three commercially important Eucalyptus species (Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Eucalyptus grandis and Eucalyptus urophylla). Protein extraction from the vascular system was carried out using a pressure bomb, in solution digested and peptides were analyzed using a Q-Exactive instrument. Protein identification was carried out using stringent database searches and only in silico predicted extracellular proteins were considered as part of the sap proteome. The results here described can be used as a reference for the proteome sap analysis of Eucalyptus plants grown under different conditions.
