This dataset comprises land cover maps of the Qaidam Basin for the years 2010 and 2020. These maps were generated using Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 remote sensing imagery, along with a large number of field sampling points as classification samples via the Random Forest classification algorithm. Validation through comparison with satellite imagery confirmed that the classification accuracy is reliable; the maps can accurately delineate different land cover types, with a Kappa coefficient greater than 0.9.
