Invertebrates on the tidal flats of the Virginia Coast, May 2016

Invertebrate composition, size and mass measurements were taken on tidal flats on the Virginia Coast. Data table 1 (Invertebrates2016a.csv): Invertebrates collected from mudflats during May 2016. Cores were 15 cm inner diameter and 10 cm deep, all epifauna and infauna collected. If cores were collected from macroalgal patch then macroalgae and epifauna were also taken. Data table 2 (InvCleanwZerosa.csv): Abundances and weights of invertebrates collected from mudflats May 2018. Cores were 7 cm inner diameter and 7 cm deep. Eight cores were collected per site from randomly selected sampling locations along a 120 m transect. 600 micron mesh used, all epifauna and infauna within core area collected. Data table 3 (Site_codes_Lat_Lon_2016_2018.csv): contains location information on sampling sites during 2016 and 2018.
