We examine the role of the gastrointestinal lymphatic tissue (GALT) in the formation of bloodstream infections in leukemia Overall design: Leukemia was induced in mice using xenograft. Five weeks later the small intestine was removed and the GALT cells were extracted (intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) and lamina propria (LP) cells). RNA was extracted from the cells and sequenced on a HiSeq 4000 machine.
