Data for current and historical resource nitrogen supply affects the eco-physiological traits and the ionome of a diazotrophic cyanobacterium.

Culture experiment using Dolichospermum UTEX 1444 long-term adapted to different N-supplies for 45 months. The long-term adapted and our stock Dolichosermum were grown across an N-supply gradient for 27 days. We measured cumulative biomass, N-fixation rates, P uptake rates, elemental stoichiometry (ionome), chlorophyll a, phycobilin pigment concentrations, cyanophycin concentrations, and photosynthetic efficiency.File structure:Readme file that explains the data and R code used to analyze the data and create the figures.Attributes files contain the units and descriptions of the column headings for the data generated.
