In vivo two-photon imaging dataset for McDermott et al. "Delayed formation of neural representations of space in aged mice" This dataset contains imaging data consisting of calcium traces for every active cell and the position of the mouse on the treadmill. The data consists of two NumPy (.npy) data files for each mouse and imaging session: fluorescence.npy contains raw fluorescence data (the F output of Suite2p data extraction). Rows are individual cells and columns are frames (i.e. timepoints) acquired at 15.253 Hz. positions.npy contains the position of the mouse on the treadmill belt indexed from 0 to 100. Both files are the output of the Preprocessing_Aging.py code, part of the analysis pipeline used for data analysis in the original publication, which can be found at https://github.com/GoncalvesLab/McDermott-et-al-Aging Due to their large size, raw calcium imaging movies were not uploaded but are available upon request. Please refer to the original publication McDermott et al., Aging Cell (2023) for additional information. All imaged mice were female.
