This documentation for MBARI Mapping AUV mission 20170910m1 in 2017 comprises a notes file which contains a hand-entered record of the mission and includes data lists, and the processing script used to process the data sets. The files are in ASCII format. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2017 KOPRI R/V Araon cruise ARA08C in the Beaufort Sea (Cruise Chief Scientist - Young Keun Jin, KOPRI; project PI - Charlie Paull and investigators: David Caress and Eve Lundsten, MBARI). Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI, KOPRI, the Geological Survey of Canada, and Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada to understand slope stability. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
