资源简介:
The roots and rhizomes of Salvia miltiorrhiza are widely used as medicine for the treatments of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in China. Root morphology and development are important factors that affect the quality and yield of this herb, but the molecular mechanism of root development of S. miltiorrhiza is still unclear. Auxin is a key plant hormone that regulates the development of plant roots, and the early auxin response gene, SmSAUR, plays a crucial role in this process. This study involved the analysis of the SmSAUR gene family and the treatment of S. miltiorrhiza seedlings with exogenous auxin in hydroponic conditions.Samples from both the control and treatment groups were collected for phenotypic observation and transcriptome analysis to preliminarily screen the SmSAUR genes associated with the root development of S. miltiorrhiza. The results demonstrated the involvement of SmSAUR4, SmSAUR28, and SmSAUR38 in the root development of S. miltiorrhiza, providing a fundamental basis for understanding how SmSAUR genes regulate root development at later stages.
