The data collected areused to examine trends in the smoking behaviour of the Canadian population15 years of age and over. The primary focus of the analysis of the data ison three specific groups: non-smokers, regular cigarette smokers and occasionalcigarette smokers. The survey is conducted on behalf of Health and WelfareCanada. This survey is a special survey of the Labour Force Surveys.
