Trends of malaria mortality among children under-five years, Zimbabwe, 2017 to 2021: Is malaria elimination effort on course?

We analyzed the trends of malaria mortality in children under five years from 2017 to 2021. We conducted a retrospective record review of malaria deaths using DHIS2 and Malaria Death Investigation Forms (MDIF). All MDIF for children under five years in Zimbabwe were reviewed from 2017 to 2021. Microsoft Excel 2019 was used to generate graphs and tables. QGIS was used to generate maps. Permission to conduct the study was obtained from the Ministry of Health and client data was de-identified. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
