"This dataset accompanies the paper \u201cA Method for Physical Monitoring of Wireline Communications Based on Compressed Sensing and Spread-Spectrum Signals\u201d, submitted to IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM).The dataset contains experimental measurements acquired on CAT 5E twisted-pair cables under different physical conditions, including intact cables, air-exposed conductor anomalies of varying lengths, cable rewinding trials, and localized twisting anomalies. Time-domain signals acquired via oscilloscope measurements are combined with frequency-domain S-parameter (S21) measurements obtained using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).The dataset is intended to support reproducibility of the experimental results presented in the paper and to enable further research on anomaly detection and physical monitoring of wireline communication channels."
