Adipose stem and progenitor cells, defined as live CD45- CD31- Ter119- CD140a+ Sca1+ PDPN+, were sorted from the epididymal adipose tissue of three wild type 12 week old male mice for transcriptional analysis. Epididymal adipose tissue of excised from three naïve wild type 12 week old male mice. Tissue was digested in Collagenase II and the stromal vascular fraction cells stained with antibodies for cell sorting. Live CD45- CD31- Ter119- CD140a+ Sca1+ PDPN+ cells were sorted to high purity into lysis buffer. RNAseq library was prepared and sequence using the Illumina platform.
