To study the changes of gene expression in response to heat stress in CG104 (heat-tolerant) and CG25 (heat-sensitive), we used next-generation sequencing to measure the transcripts changes of genes in CG104 and CG25 during heat stress treatment. RNA sequencing data were generated from leaf samples treated for 10 and 45 min heat stress and untreated samples (0 min) with three biological replicates for each time point (Figure 4). Total of 151.1 Gbp of data was collected from 18 samples, and the Q30 percentage (sequencing error rate < 0.1%) was 94.2%. When mapping the clean reads to reference genome, 90.2% -94.5% of them could be mapped and 89.56%~92.7% are unique.
