VPRS 14626 Visitors Book - Speaker

This series records visitors to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.Entries were made only in the inital pages of the two volumes in custody. In the P1 consignment, only the first nine pages were used. The pages are ruled into two columns headed name and address. The address column records only the surburb, town, city or country of the visitor. In some cases a visitor's formal title (such as Consul-General for the Netherlands) is recorded instead. The volume in the P2 consignment is in the same format but contains entries over the first 39 pages. The remaining pages were used as a cookbook and contain a number of recipes.
