Supplementary Data for: Geodiversity and Landscape Structure in the Quarta Colônia UNESCO Global Geopark, Brazil: Compositional Richness and Land-Use and Land-Cover Fragmentation

This dataset contains the supplementary materials associated with the manuscript: “Geodiversity and Landscape Structure in the Quarta Colônia UNESCO Global Geopark, Brazil: Compositional Richness and Land-Use and Land-Cover Fragmentation”. The repository provides analytical tables that complement the results presented in the manuscript, including: (i) the spatial distribution of land-use and land-cover classes in the Quarta Colônia UNESCO Global Geopark, with information on area, percentage, number of patches, and largest patch size (2024); and (ii) Spearman correlation matrices between geodiversity components (geology, geomorphology, pedology, and hydrography), the composite Geodiversity Index, and land-use and land-cover metrics. The files are available in English and Portuguese. The metrics LULC_Multipart and LULC_Singlepart represent two operational configurations of landscape structure: LULC_Multipart refers to compositional richness of land-use and land-cover classes, whereas LULC_Singlepart refers to structural fragmentation based on the number of patches.
