Student Survey 2016

The thirteenth survey of the Student Survey covers the following topics: access to higher education, choice of subject, motives and expectations; study strategies, course of studies and qualifications; study intensity, time required and duration of studies; study requirements, regulations and examinations; contacts and communication, social climate, counselling; subject-related studies, situation of teaching and quality of studies; student lifestyle, social situation, employment; Difficulties, Impairments and Burdens; Higher Education Policy, Participation and Student Representation; Internationality and the European Higher Education Area; Career Choice, Career Values and Fields of Activity; Career Prospects and Labor Market Responses; Social Perceptions and Values; Political Participation and Democratic Attitudes; Wishes and Demands for Higher Education Development; Demographic and Educational Biographical Data. The data are based on random samples from 16 universities and twelve universities of applied sciences in West Germany and comprise 413 items (plus additionally created variables).
