Health Accounts - Tables and Charts

The health accounts record expenditure and analyse in detail the final consumption of health care in France and the corresponding funding, whether it comes from health insurance, the State, local authorities, complementary bodies or directly from households. Developed by the DREES, the health accounts are one of INSEE’s national accounts satellites, whose methodology they adopt. They also serve as a basis for drawing up health accounts presented in international fora (the OECD, Eurostat and WHO SHA system) and thus enable international comparisons to be made on a reliable and harmonised basis. **Erratum:** Fiche 30 was amended and updated on 19 February 2024.
